Studies show lack of media literacy in students has negative impact by Laura Spilsbury

At the basis of media literacy is critical thinking, as can be seen in an article in The Daily Universe from Brigham Young University journalism student Laura Spilsbury.
Spilsbury’s analysis of a Stanford study on students’ media literacy in middle school, high school and college provides more insight into different educators’ methods for increasing media literacy.
Each one is working toward a common goal in their own lanes, which is reflective of an education shift throughout all areas of education and shows what any educator can do in their own space!
